The Spinosaurus was a large carnivorous dinosaur that lived during the Cretaceous period. It was one of the largest known predatory dinosaurs, possibly reaching lengths of up to 50-60 feet. Spinosaurus had a large spinal sail, which was made up of elongated neural spines that may have been used for thermoregulation or display.
This dinosaur was semi-aquatic, and had webbed feet and a long narrow snout, which may have been adapted for hunting fish. Spinosaurus was bipedal and had a long tail, which likely helped it to balance while walking. Spinosaurus fossils have been found in North Africa, specifically in Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco.
